YEAR ONE

Welcome to Dosbarth Barafundle’s section of our school website. This is where you’ll find lots of information about the excitement, fun and learning going on in Year one at Cwmffrwdoer. Please join us in our learning adventures.

Important Reminders 

· PE takes place twice weekly, currently Monday and Thursday. Please send your child dressed in PE kit and appropriate footwear. 

· Forest School takes place every Friday afternoon. Please send wellies and waterproofs. 

· Reading folders will be sent home every Friday. Please return every week, by Wednesday if possible so that resources can be changed for the following week. Resources in the folder will be individualised and will 

address things the children may need practice with. It is really helpful if you could spend some time going over these with your child. 

· Homework is put onto TEAMS every week. Please let me know if you are having any problems accessing Teams. 

· Snack is provided at a cost of £1:50 per week. We have a variety of snack options including fruit, toast, crackers and cheese and food from different cultures. · Please contact me via email at Bakerc161@HwbCymru.net if you have any questions or queries.
