I can’t believe Christmas is nearly here! Our little elves in Nursery have certainly been very busy getting ready for all the festivities. It is a very exciting time with lots going on. Here is a little reminder of what is happening over the next two weeks, hope it is helpful.

Nursery Christmas Concert
We are really looking forward to welcoming you to our Christmas concert. We have been practising really hard and have been amazing in rehearsals. We are sure you’ll be impressed. Don’t forget to bring some tissues just in case.
The concert begins at 9:30, we are happy for you to bring your children in from 8:50 on this morning to enable us to get everyone prepared in time.
There are still tickets available in Nursery (£1) for anyone who has not purchased them yet.
Nursery Visit to Greenmeadow Community Farm & Christmas Jumper Day
We are really looking forward to a lovely Festive day at the farm on Friday. Please meet in the farm car park at 10am. We have a timetable of activities arranged and I will share these with you on the day. We will aim to leave the farm at 2pm to enable school pick-ups for older children. If you would like to leave before this time, please let a member of staff know.
As it is Christmas jumper day, please feel free to wear your Christmas Jumper the farm, we will be wearing ours.
Nursery will be holding an Enterprise Sale in the Nursery classroom on Wednesday 18th December. Please come in and buy our festive goodies when you drop off or pick up your children from Nursery.
Nursery Christmas Party
We will be holding our Christmas Party on the last day of term. Please come dressed in your party clothes ready for lots of fun.
If you have not already done so, could you please send in a framed family photograph for our display after the holidays.
This term we have been fortunate to enjoy visits to class from people who could share specialist skills or knowledge with us. Mr Phillips played his cornet and D’s Daddy brought in his Bearded Dragon. These are very enriching and stimulating experiences for the children, widening their learning opportunities and allowing them access to adults other than their teachers, (we must get boring after a while!).
We would like to extend these opportunities over the next two terms. If you feel you (or someone in your family) has something to share with us we would love to hear from you. For example, can you speak another language, play an instrument or have an interesting hobby or job? I have already talked to some parents about visits next term and we have some lined up which I am very excited about, as I am sure the children will be. I am also working with the Community to develop a lovely project which will be taking place off site next term. Watch this space for more details.
We hope that you all have a lovely Christmas break and that Father Christmas brings everything you wish for. Have a lovely time together, keep safe and we look forward to seeing you next year.
