End of term newsletter July 17th 2019

Dear Parents/Carers,

Another year has flown by and already we’re at the end of the term and the end of the academic year.  May I take this opportunity to thank you all for all your wonderful support throughout this last year but in particular I would like to thank the parents who have given their time to help the PTA run events, and also those who have listened to children reading, it has been very much appreciated.

We say goodbye to our lovely year 6 children, we all wish them the very best of luck in their future education.  The Y6 leavers’ concert was amazing! We will miss them all.  We also say goodbye and good luck to three members of staff, Miss Jones, Miss Hart and Mr Hancock.

I am also advising you that for pupils who have school dinners, Torfaen Catering Department have informed us that if there are any outstanding dinner monies, school meals will NOT be provided until the debt is cleared. School is unable to cover these costs. If you owe any dinner monies, parents/carers will have to provide packed lunch for your children.

We look forward to seeing you all when school will re-open for children on Monday 4th September.

May I wish you all a lovely and hopefully sunny summer.

Best wishes,

Sarah Truelove
